I spoke too soon!!

Ha!

It's funny how the things you expect to blow-up don't, and the things you expect to work out end up being splattered on the walls!

It would seem that I am a lot more naive than I had thought. Most people who claim to have your best interests at heart, really don't. It's just something people say, like a turn of phrase, and that's it.

I fell for it. And the shit is hitting the fan. And I'll be damned if I'm going to let it smack ME in the face.

Watch out my sweets, prod the hermit too much and you'll find an angry bear on your hands.

The great disaster that never happened

So here it is.

I called the OU and asked them, to essentially confirm what fees I would be eligible for, and guess what they tell me?? Because you don't live in the UK, actually because I don't 183 days in year there. My goodness was that earth shattering; considering they'd told me earlier the same day I could register.

Confusion!! But no worries...it's a happy ending. I called back expecting them to tell me to bugger off and lo and behold! They registered me for one course and then the bloody credit card reached it' bloody limit!!

Oh and by the by, I only had two day left to register in!! So yeah freak out was imminent! Anyway, my dad paid part of the card bill or something and the next night I called again...

I fibbed a little...just a little white lie...I told them I'll be splitting my time between London and Pakistan...it was just a little lie...I mean I’ll be going for the exams right and if my assignments make it on time, it shouldn't make any difference to anyone! Right!?

So at the end of the day...I'm now a registered student with the OU.

And as off today my study material is on its way from London!!

Joy!! Life is good!! Or better than it was at least :P
